The Fellow in Yellow
“The Fellow In Yellow” Visited our Store – Doug and Marion’s Bike Sales & Repairs in Strathroy, ON this week – November 18, 2024.
When he reached our destination in Strathroy, his running total was 4,875 km. We enjoyed his company and had some minor repairs done and off he went. He is running from Halifax Nova Scotia to Vancouver to raise funds and he is “Out to Make Canada Better“.
Health trauma, both physically and emotionally, can happen suddenly or develop over long periods of time throughout our lives. I have experienced my own personal health care system at a very early age, by just playing and running.
I also was admitted into the health care system when I was struck by a vehicle and struggled to keep my leg there after. From surgeries and hospital beds to a wheelchair, to crutches, to a cane, to walking and running again. I have so much to give back I was supported by health care systems.
I am out to support health care systems and maximize health care systems to provide Health, Mobility, Recovery for EveryBody. It is the least I can do at the most.

Annual Strathroy Lions Auction
Our 4th annual holiday, Christmas at The Shops, is back this year on December 7th from 10am to 4pm!
Visitors can expect a fun and family friendly event full of shopping, freebies, photo-ops and more! Mingle with your family and friends while shopping from the festive market vendors, getting free photos with Santa Claus or enjoying the kids craft corner! While you’re wandering around, don’t forget to also pop into the different locally owned shops and restaurants that reside in the mall. In addition, the first 100 shoppers that enter through the main entrance doors will receive a FREE swag bag (1 per adult)! So, be sure to mark this fun holiday event on your calendar and we’ll see you soon, at The Shops.
